With around 35,000 students, the renowned University of Technology in Dresden is the largest university in the free state of Saxony. The growing number of courses on offer demanded modernisation and new buildings. The Faculty of Computer Science has now moved into a new, impressive building on the campus. Designed as a separate complex, the building made of glass and steel ensures flexible use. Its meandering form creates open spaces and represents a connection to the outside. Coloured and printed glass lend the façade structure and vitality. The interplay of reduced materials and light green accents is continued inside the faculty. In the seminar rooms, Eco is the basis of concentration and the platform for innovative ideas. Invista’s Antron Legacy fiber has dirt-repelling characteristics that ensure Eco looks good for so long.
